Happy holidays!
I hope you’ve enjoyed the season. I know it can be stressful for some, but I love giving gifts. I love thinking of the perfect item for my family and friends. I even love wrapping and making bows.
The time to invest in yourself
One thing I haven’t been good at, or accustomed to, is including myself on the list. It may not be common practice, but I think it’s the kindest thing we can do. Treat ourselves as well as we treat others. So this year, I’m adding something for me—and not just a cute sweater or a scented candle—but something more meaningful.
I’ve been wanting to do more guided meditation with a guru and am finally going to do it. It’s one of those things that’s easy to put off, especially when looking at the price. I don’t know why I’ve been deprioritizing it when I’m 100% confident it’s going to play a significant role in helping achieve my goals.
Will you add yourself to the list? Have you been wanting to lose weight? Run a marathon? Finish a degree? Get a new job? Whatever it is, this is THE time to invest in yourself and invest in your happiness. Whether a program or coach, it’ll hold you accountable and help yield the results you’ve been looking for.
I hope you can give yourself a meaningful gift—starting the new year with a great investment and new direction to achieve your goals!
Wishing you a wonderful holiday with your loved ones!
